After winning the LUV presidency, Donna got handed a few boxes of paperwork with, amongst the MySQL 3.x manuals and Fedora Core 1 and 2 CDs, a little gem. Well, three little gems actually. Three glossy CALU flyers :-)

After a great talk about MediaWiki by Brianna Laugher at LUV last night, I have a few things for my todo list that I need to look at and probably play with on the LUV wiki.

Last tuesday evening Microsoft (MSFT) came to speak at Linux Users of Victoria (LUV).

Unlike SLUG, we didn't prepare a set of questions, but let the representatives do their thing and ask questions as they arose.

Most of the talk was about OOXML; some details about the file format and some info about and justifications for the ISO standard application.
